The Latter Glory Evangelical Ministries (Inc.)

The Latter Glory Evangelical Ministries (Inc.) was borne out of the relationship and walk with God of His servant, Bishop Dr. David Oladunjoye Adeyemo. Certain events in his life and ministry made him to seek answers from God in prayer and in fasting. At the end of this period of separation, God revealed to him the direction God wants him to follow. God showed him the need to separate himself and cut off from the past in order to continue in God’s ministry. A new Church with a new name was revealed to him. The name “The Latter Glory Evangelical Ministries” was showed to him written boldly in green grass, which is the confirmation of God’s word spoken through the prophet Haggai in the book of Haggai chapter two verse mien that, “The GLORY of the LATTER house shall be greater than the former, saith the Lord of hosts; and in this place will I give peace.”

In 1996, he was led to move out and establish The Latter Glory Evangelical Ministries with 7 cardinal points:

  1. Enough is Enough.
  2. If the foundation is destroyed.
  3. Where there is envy, jealousy and the like, there can be no Holy Spirit; where there is no Holy Spirit, there can be no anointing.
  4. Build a prayer house for Me.
  5. Build on Faithfulness, Righteousness and Holiness.
  6. Make every member a missionary.
  7. The name of the church – “THE LATTER GLORY EVANGELICAL MINISTRIES” – written in green grass.

By the special grace of God, the Ministry was incorporated in May 1997 by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

Bishop Dr. David Oladunjoye Adeyemo

The Ministry has its National Camp Ground also known as Mountain of Perfection, on a 41.5 acre of land on Kuta Road, Ileogbo, Iwo, State of Osun, Nigeria. The ground presently houses our Church Auditorium where our major national programmes and annual conventions are held, monthly liberation: which comes up every last Thursday to Saturday of every month where prayer, counseling and deliverance are available, it also houses both Church and private residential hostels that provides adequate accommodation for members and visitors alike during such national programmes. Furthermore, the ground also houses the Ololade Memorial Nursery and Primary School, the Glorious High School, the Glorious Bible College, the Beulay Land Water Venture among other users. The proposed Glorious University is also planned to be accommodated on the ground in due course.

Vision Statement:

  • To propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ all over the globe, through evangelism, social/community development programs.
  • To establish and help converts in the Lord develop godly culture and character in all aspects of their lives.
  • To encourage and foster establishing and maintaining Christ-centered families/homes.
  • To establish a gospel center and training centers that teach and train Christian workers and preachers of the gospel for the mission.

The Latter Glory Campground, Ile-ogbo

By God’s direction we were led to Ile-Ogbo to have our Campground at around 1995–1997 with meetings with landowners. And finally concluded for our possession since 1997 up till date with the love and concern of the then Late Oba Alli Oladipupo Adeleye on the throne of Ile-Ogbo kingdom. We are connected with Late Chief Balogun Taiwo Olajide and Chief Oosa, Chief Akogun to Akogun Family under the headship of Late Baba Israel Ariyibi who took us to the land we occupied now as our campground along Kuta Express Road, also connected us to Aderibigbe family who also released their portion of land to us to purchase for the campground. Both lands were purchased with the arable crops like cocoa, cashew, orange and palm tree therein. And we paid for all these to purchase both land for our campground with correct documents 

Summary

Arise and Shine for the Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. This was the Word of the Lord to the man of God for the ILEOGBO CRUSADE 2019 where HE (GOD) wants to demonstrate His majesty in the Town. As part of the Mission of the ministry to the fulfillment of this instruction from God, God wants to minister through the Ministry to the Total Man (Spirit, Body & Soul). This we will do in Prayers, Worship, the Word of God, giving out to the needy, Health Examination and Skills Acquisition.
